Refund & Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time — no questions asked. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.

If you'd like a refund, email us within 7 days of your most recent charge and we'll process it promptly. No hoops to jump through.

To cancel, update your payment method, or view your billing history, open the ELI5 extension, go to Account (⚙️), and click Manage subscription.

FAQ

Does ELI5 work in languages other than English?
Yes — paste text in any language and ELI5 will explain it in plain English.
What happens when my free trial ends?
You automatically move to the free plan: 10 explanations per month, no charge. You can upgrade to Pro at any time.
Is my text stored or shared?
No. Text you paste is sent to our server only to generate your explanation and is never stored or used for any other purpose.
What is explanation history?
Pro users get a History tab in the extension that saves your past explanations locally on your device. Clearing your browser data will remove it — we don't store it on our servers.
